Petition to support Peoples Vote

With the new information that's come to light since the referendum in 2016 we believe that it's right for the people to make an informed decision on the future relationship of Wales and the UK with the EU.

We support the call for Denbighshire County Council to support a People's Vote, which should include the option of remaining within the European Union.

Vote leave broke the law. Referendum was advisory. Preserving GFA more important.

There wasn’t enough info for me to understand how it would benefit North Wales. I don’t understand why such a wasted amount of time and money is now being questioned again when the right decision should of been made in the first place.

The British public did not have sufficient information to make a rational decision at the time of the first referendum. I wish the UK had never joined the EU, but as we did I believe that we are now too involved to be able to leave. without adverse consequences. So give us the opportunity to reverse out previous vote.

No one voted for any specific type of leave and people are now much more informed. Electoral commission found that the leave side cheated and people were conned with false claims and promises. To restore the legacy and confidence of honesty in this country this is the only opportunity to put it right.

Otherwise we are accepting that we are corrupt and ignoring it.

Making an informed decision is obviously preferable but the referendum shouldn’t have been held in the first place. We elect and pay politicians to spend the time to read up on the implications of policy and legislative decisions on our behalf. Its all such a mess.
